When I left you, I was but the learner, now I am the master.

Hey all,

Figured we’d start off the week with a short clip from the ANH TC, featuring XP Gains, Skill Training as it once was, as well as some of the behind the scenes features that may be difficult to notice, but which happen in the background, features like proper Skill Mod assignments, Money Deductions…

Hope you enjoy the XP & Training video…

And here is the first of the new videos, just to give you folks a preview of what’s currently happening on the Test Center…

(Note: Moved video to stage6.com thanks to Starko, stage6 retains the proper aspect ratio, although I left the original filefront link there as well, for any folks that have issues downloading or viewing the video on Stage6)

CRAFTING!

It’s here, it’s working, and it’s currently in testing phase!

Crafting hit the Test Center a few days ago, and is actively being put through it’s paces by the amazing QA teams. HTX’s dedication and hard work over the last two months has made this possible, along with tremendous efforts from Schmunzel last year as she laid the foundations by thoroughly reversing and test implementing the crafting systems. Screenshots of this are available on our gallery pages.

At this time not all items can be crafted. This is mainly due to the database changes which took place during the design of the server code, and we will be working to update all the items to the current design. As more items are converted they will be added to our QA server for further testing.

I’m sure the server community forums will have plenty of feedback from the QA teams reporting as to the current state of progress with crafting as well as the other recently added features, so please check there for more details.

Small September Update

Well, it has been a while since last our update. A few of the team took a few weeks off for family and last bit summer fun, but we are back to working again.

We now have banking under development, but haven’t pushed it to our TC yet as we are still working on the safety deposit box and tipping.

Friendslist/ignore list are on TC currently being tested.

All starting prof schematics are in and currently being tested for accuracy with the others prof schematics coming in the next few weeks. We had schematic for starters in for a while but something was missing that caused them to bug. Well last weekend I made a big discovery that has finally solved that issue they are all working perfectly.

All pilot trainers are in and being checked for accuracy.

Alot of internal wiki work being done (ready is a monster when it comes to wiki work, not sure he sleeps).

Scripting is currently in development by Jack and Ketu.

A few db bugs have been fixed nothing real big just facing directions of a few npcs and bank terminal was a little off on its facing direction.

NPC posture is in TC, NPCs now sitting in chairs in cantinas and so forth.

Bazaar coding is about 90% complete we should see this on TC with a few weeks.

So all code progress not alot of flashy progress you can see, but its being made.
